Program Screens
Doc-in-a-Box Physician Recruiting Software is specifically written for the physician recruiter by a former physician recruiter.
Among many other features, it allows the storage of physician specific information not found in many general recruiting packages. The client and opportunity (job order) files also contain specific fields for physician recruiting needs. At the candidate level, you can track all the opportunities where the candidate has been presented. At the opportunity level, track all candidates presented. At the site level, track all opportunities and candidates presented for each.
A word about cost. With Doc-in-a-Box, you are purchasing the program instead of sub- scribing to it year after year. Others might charge you as much each year as you would pay once for Doc-in-a-Box.
In addition, since you are purchasing Doc-in-a-Box and storing the data on your own computer system/server, you will have full possession of your data.
You can view and/or download the PowerPoint slide show by clicking on the following link. DocinBox.pps
The recruiting software has two major components, the candidate database and the site (client) database. Opportunities (job orders) are a subset of the sites, e.g., sites have none, one or more opportunities at anytime. The opportunity data shares certain common fields with the site data, i.e., who the contact people are, a description of the community etc.
This web site has selected a few screens for your view. These are the "Candidate Screen", "Referrals", "Opportunities" and "Financial". Click on the "Candidate Screen" button to the left to view the first screen.
Candidate Screen
The candidate screen is
the central component of system. You can track phone numbers,
addresses, personal and professional information, geographical
desires, a to-do list, track phone calls and e-mail. The
candidate screen has multiple tabs leading to additional information
about the candidate. The first screen shows the current status
of the candidate along with address and phone numbers.![]()
Referrals
One powerful component of the candidate screen is the ability to
link a candidate to an opportunity and track the status of the
referral. ![]()
Opportunities
This screen contains everything you know about the opportunity. Much of this information is drawn from the site screen (not shown on this web site). It contains a to-do list, phone numbers of key personnel, community descriptions, track phone calls etc. The opportunities screen is also divided into multiple tabs or pages. This screen shows the basic information about the candidate including access to the phones numbers of the key personnel there.
Financial
You can enter specifics of the financial offer including benefits and other attributes of the practice i.e., the call schedule, how many docs in the group for the specific opportunity.
Opportunity Recruiting Expenses
You can allocate specific travel expenses on a candidate's screen, advertising expenses in the advertising module and use of search firms within that module to a particular opportunity. These expenses are then aggregated and displayed within the individual opportunity on the expense tab along with other miscellaneous expenses for that search. You can then print a report from this screen with the details.
